Photographer John Gwillim captures Buckeyes thrilling win over Hoosiers

COLUMBUS, Ohio The Buckeyes are Big Ten champs and they did it in thrilling fashion Sunday with a 5-4 shootout win over Indiana. Photographer John Gwillim was at Old College Field in East Lansing to capture the action.

The 18th-ranked and second seeded Buckeyes battled to a 0-0 tie through overtimes with the ninth-ranked and top-seeded Hoosiers, sending the match into a shootout, where Ohio State senior goalkeeper Casey Latchem saved three penalty kicks and the Buckeyes got conversions from seniors Xavier Balc, Eric Brunner, juniors Danny Irizarry and Tim Gabel and sophomore Doug Verhoff to give Ohio State its second Big Ten title and first since 2000.
