COLUMBUS, Ohio – The baseball game between Ohio State and Illinois that was to be played Friday night has been postponed because of inclement weather. Rain pushed through Columbus at 5:30 p.m. and did not let up as of 7:45 p.m. Friday.

The game will be played as part of a doubleheader Saturday beginning at 1:05 p.m. The teams will play a nine-inning game followed by a seven-inning game and then on Sunday the teams would play a seven-inning game followed by a nine-inning game beginning at 1:05 p.m. to get in all four games of the series.

Ohio State is 16-6 overall and 3-1 in the Big Ten, while Illinois is 14-9 and 2-2.

Fans that had tickets for the game Friday can use the ticket Saturday or may redeem them at the OSU Athletics Ticket Office for any of the remaining home games this season.

Games two, three and four will be broadcast on AM 920 WMNI.
