At the 2007 NFL Draft, eight more former Buckeyes joined the long and ever-expanding list of past players being selected to continue their careers at the highest level.

Two of those Buckeyes, wide receiver/returner Ted Ginn Jr., the No. 9 overall pick to Miami, and wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez, 32nd to Indianapolis, were chosen in the first round. Those two opening round selections bumped Ohio State into the top spot all-time among NCAA football programs with 66 first-rounders in the history of the NFL draft.
