COLUMBUS, Ohio- – The Ohio State men’s and women’s fencing squads went undefeated this weekend at the Northwestern Duals in Evanston, Ill. Both teams are undefeated on the season with 21 victories combined.

The women Buckeyes swept opponents Lawrence, Fairleigh Dickinson, Temple and North Carolina Nov. 15 at the Sports Pavilion and Aquatics Center in Evanston. The women’s team, now 10-0 this season, shut out Lawrence, 27-0 and defeated Fairleigh Dickinson, 23-4, Temple, 22-5 and North Carolina, 22-5.

On the men’s side, the Buckeyes shut out North Carolina, 27-0 and Lawrence, 27-0. The men downed Johns Hopkins, 25-2 with a 7-2 decision in the foil competition.

The Buckeyes will host the OSU Alumni Meet Saturday, Nov. 22 at the Steelwood Athletic Facility in Columbus, Ohio. The squad will not see action again until the start of the new year as Ohio State travels to the New York University Duals Jan. 25 in New York, N.Y.
