Each sale benefits Tressel Family Fund for Cancer Research
COLUMBUS, Ohio As the college football season winds down in Big Ten country, so does the temperature. The weather forecast for the 105th meeting between Michigan and Ohio State calls for a climate in the mid-30s.
Buckeye and Wolverine fans will no doubt be waiting in concession lines for warm beverages like hot chocolate and coffee.
So when Buckeye and Wolverine fans are waiting in concession lines for warm beverages like hot chocolate and coffee Saturday inside Ohio Stadium, they will have the opportunity to not only warm themselves but also give to cancer research with a purchase of the “Tressel Signature Mug” at all concession stands. Proceeds from the sale benefit cancer research.
In cooperation with Sodexo Food Services and Facilities Management and the Ohio State Department of Athletics, $1 from the sale of each mug will be donated to the Tressel Family Fund for Cancer Research at the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
The mug features an imprint of Ohio State football head coach Jim Tressel’s signature and a Buckeye logo on a football-themed thermos container. The price of each mug is $10. No proceeds from the mug sale directly go to Coach Tressel.
