COLUMBUS, Ohio The OhioState football coaching staff has selected its weekly award winners for play in the 30-20 win at Illinois.

 

Safety Kurt Coleman was the Buckeyes’ defensive player of the week; quarterback Terrelle Pryor picked up offensive player of the week honors. Aaron Pettrey was the player of the week on the special units.

           

Scout team champions were: Offense: Joe Bauserman; Defense: Nate Oliver; Special Units: Joe Gantz. The “Attack Force” award went to linebacker Tyler Moeller. The Jim Parker offensive lineman of the week was Alex Boone. The Jack Tatum big hit was not awarded this week.

 

No. 10 Ohio State (9-2) hosts Michigan (3-8) on Saturday, Nov. 22, for a Big Ten game at noon Eastern that will be televised by ABC.
