With a wealth of experience in women’s soccer, Erin Taylor joins the Buckeyes as an assistant coach.

A 1997 graduate of the University of Maryland, Taylor lettered four years and was squad captain her junior and senior year. In 1995, she led her team to a final eight finish and in 1996, she was a first team All-American selection and ACC Player of the Year. Taylor is currently a member of the United States National Team Pool and has traveled with the team to Germany.

After graduation, Taylor was an assistant soccer coach at Buholz High School in Gainseville, Florida. There she coached her team to a final eight appearance in the Division IV A state tournament.

Taylor’s coaching responsibilities will include assistance in the training and conditioning of the team, and coordinating the defense. Office duties will include assisting in the day-to-day operations of the program, coordinating alumni correspondence and events, as well as the evaluation and recruitment of prospective student-athletes.
