Engle Announced as All-America Scholar

Recently-graduated senior Clark Engle was named an All-America Scholar today (July 26) by the Golf Coaches Association of America. Engle racked up a plethora of academic awards during his Buckeye career which included 107 rounds played and All-Big Ten accolades. The All-America Scholar recognition caps off a long list of success in his studies as a three-time Academic All-Big Ten and four-time OSU Scholar-Athlete honoree.

To be eligible for All-America Scholar status an individual must meet all of the following criteria:
-A junior or senior academically
-Compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level
-Participate in 50 percent of his team’s competitive rounds
-Post a stroke-average under 76.0 (Division-I)
-Maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.2
-High moral character and be in good standing at his college or university
