Columbus, Ohio– The 2016 NFL playoffs continue this weekend with the four Divisional games as 11 former Buckeyes will try to move one step closer to playing for a Lombardi Trophy. All four of this round’s matchups feature at least one Buckeye:
Pittsburgh Steelers: Will Allen, Cameron Heyward, Ryan Shazier, Doran Grant
New England Patriots: Nate Ebner
Denver Broncos: Bradley Roby
Green Bay Packers: Corey Linsley
Carolina Panthers: Corey Brown, Andrew Norwell, Ted Ginn, Jr., Kurt Coleman
Nine Buckeyes will suit up on Sunday, with the Steelers, Panthers and Broncos in action. That number marks the most former players from one school on active rosters in Sunday’s games. Georgia, Tennessee and Texas A&M each have six suiting up on Day 2.
Only Georgia (12) has more total alums left standing in the 2016 NFL playoffs.
The Patriots host the Kansas City Chiefs at 4:35 ET (CBS) on Saturday followed by the Packers visiting the Cardinals at 8:15 (NBC). On Sunday the Seattle Seahawks and Carolina Panthers will battle at 1:05 ET (FOX) before the Steelers travel to play the Denver Broncos at 4:40 ET (CBS).
