Ashlee Trebilcock, a 2008 Honorable Mention All-Big Ten selection, averaged 9.6 points per game in the 2007-08 season to aid in a 2008 Big Ten Championship for the Buckeyes. A three-point shooting threat, the senior guard from Boise, Idaho netted 44 shots from outside the arc during her junior campaign. Once a child actress living in Los Angles, Calif., Trebilcock took a few minutes to answer questions about Buckeye basketball and her time spent in front of the cameras. – MORE –
WBK: Buckeyes Drop Rare Big Ten Home Game, 59-56, to Minnesota
Ashley Ellis-Milan scored 17 points, including two tiebreaking free throws with 17.3 seconds left, leading Minnesota to a 59-56 win over No. 15 Ohio State on Thursday for its first win on the Buckeyes’ home court. The Golden Gophers (12-5, 4-2 Big Ten) never trailed after the 9:31 mark of the first half, although the Buckeyes (14-3, 5-1) pulled even twice in the second half. – MORE –
