MBK: Ohio State Finishes Regular Season Sweep of Michigan with 72-54 Win
Turner scores 24 points to lead all scorers as fans that trudged through the snow to Value City Arena Wednesday were treated to an impressive performance from Ohio State. Evan Turner scored 14 of his 22 points as Ohio State built an 18-point first-half lead, and the Buckeyes hung on to beat Michigan 72-54 on Wednesday night in a chippy showdown between the rivals. – MORE –

Buckeye Blog Post: Thousands of Students Enjoy Snow Day’ Win over Michigan for Free
Wednesday, the city of Columbus was crippled by several wintery rounds of snow, ice and more snow. Schools were closed. Businesses were shutdown. And the rarity of classes being canceled at Ohio State was considered and carried out. For the Buckeye men’s basketball team, the show must go on. Because Michigan and game officials already were in town, the game tipped off as scheduled as if it was 55 degrees and sunny in central Ohio. – MORE –

There are many challenges that a student has to overcome when they are first adjusting to college life. Living on your own, being responsible for your own well-being and balancing school and life can be daunting for some. For Nikola Kecman, however, that has been the easy part. WR: Buckeyes Welcome Back Alumni Friday vs. Hoosiers
It’s a big weekend for the fifth-ranked Ohio State wrestling team as it opens up Big Ten dual action at 7 p.m. Friday vs. Indiana in St. John Arena. The Scarlet and Gray will celebrate the great tradition of Buckeye wrestling, hosting Alumni Day at the league opener. On Sunday, Ohio State moves across the Olentangy River to Value City Arena where it will go to battle against conference-rival Minnesota at 11 a.m. – MORE –
