Tickets Remain for Ohio State Finale vs. Illinois
COLUMBUS, Ohio-The Ohio State men’s basketball team (23-7, 13-4) will conclude the regular season at home Tuesday vs. Illinois. Big Ten Title Within Reach For No. 9 Ohio State Against Illinois Tuesday
Ohio State will share in the Big Ten title with a win vs. Illinois in the regular-season finale Tuesday. Ohio State is 13-4 in league play after winning 12 of its last 13 games following a 1-3 start to the league schedule. A win vs. the Illini will ensure Ohio State at least a share of the conference crown, the third in six years for head coach Thad Matta at Ohio State. Buford Nets 24, Turner With Double-Double In No. 9 Ohio State’s Win Over Michigan, 66-55
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) – William Buford scored 24 points and Evan Turner added 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead No. 9 Ohio State past Michigan 66-55 on Saturday. The victory kept the Buckeyes (23-7, 13-4) in the thick of the Big Ten race heading into the final week. It also gave them a measure of retribution for an earlier loss to the Wolverines (13-15, 6-10). – MORE –
