COLUMBUS, Ohio — After a strong showing earlier this summer Jincy Dunne received an invitation to the 2018 U.S. Women’s National Team Evaluation Camp set for September 13-17 at the Harold Alfond Forum on the campus of the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine.
In August Dunne played in the the 2018 U.S vs Canada Under-22 Series, assisting on one goal and scoring the game winning goal in the second game of the series. Dunne is coming off a career year where she tallied 26 points from two goals and 24 assists, earning American Hockey Coaches Association All-America honors along the way. She also earned All-WCHA First Team distinction.
“This is awesome,” Dunne said. “It’s an honor to receive this invitation after competing in the U-22 games. The women heading to this camp are the best of the best and they’ve represented our country so well. I’m super honored to share the ice with them.”
The camp will be utilized to evaluate player progression and provide training guidelines as players prepare for upcoming opportunities with the U.S. Women’s National Team. Players will be split into two teams and participate in three intra-squad scrimmages as part of the camp.
