COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State senior golfer Zach Doran earned the first Big Ten Athlete of the Week honor in 2004, following his performance at the SunTrust Gator Invitational.

During the event, the Dublin, Ohio native tied for 15th place overall, as he fired a three-round total of 217. In the tournament, which included Big Ten foe Purdue, Doran posted the best finish among all Big Ten golfers. Doran’s total of 217 marked his lowest three-round total of the 2003-04 season.

The Buckeyes return to action Feb. 16-17 at the Matlock Classic in Lakeland, Fla.
