COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University women’s volleyball team reports to campus for the start of preseason activities on Sunday (August 9), prepping for the season opener which looms just 23 days away. The Buckeyes venture to Wyoming for the Rumble in the Rockies to begin the 2015 campaign with three non-conference matches against the Cowgirls, Butler and South Dakota (August 28-29).
Tyler Richardson, a senior middle blocker, dons the No. 23 jersey and OhioStateBuckeyes.com caught up with her for a few questions in the first entry of a ‘Countdown Close-up’ series in anticipation of the upcoming season.

Richardson played in 31 matches, including 22 starts, during her first season as a Buckeye in 2014. She ranked second on the team with .90 blocks per set and raised her blocking average to 1.56/set during three NCAA Tournament contests.
