Columbus, Ohio— Ohio State’s Colin Zeng has been named the Big Ten’s Diver of the Week for the first time this season.

Last weekend he swept all diving events in the Buckeyes’ two dual meets against Cleveland State and Miami (OH). Against the Vikings he won on 3-meter with a score of 389.18, and on 1-meter he won with a score of 400.13, the only diver to crack 400. The next day against the RedHawks was more of the same; Zeng remained undefeated on the season in individual events, taking home first place on both 1 and 3-meter with scores of 409.13 and 443.48, respectively. Each of his scores this season have been well above the NCAA qualifying standards for both events.

For Zeng this is the sixth B1G Diver of the Week honor he has received. Last season he took home several accolades, including a national championship on platform, Big Ten titles on platform and 1-meter, and Big Ten Diver of the Year.

Zeng and the rest of the Buckeyes host their annual fall invitational this weekend at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. For more information please visit our 2016 OSU Invite page.
