CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Ohio State women’s swimming and diving team is competing in a two day event at Illinois against No. 23rd ranked Notre Dame and Big Ten rival Illinois. After the first day of competition Notre Dame leads the tri-meet 222.50 followed by Illinois 201.50, and OSU 126.
Carrie Ziebarth (Jr., Seattle, Wash.) won the one-meter diving event with 262.20 points. OSU had two second place finishes, Julie Hutzler (Sr., Hampton, VA) in the 100 backstroke with a time of :58.72, and Keryn Krynauw (Fr. Pietermarizburg, S. Africa) in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.31.
The Buckeyes will finish competition tomorrow beginning at noon.
