COLUMBUS, Ohio – Team Canada continued to hang on to its first-place position on the team leaderboard Friday at the Women’s World Amateur Championship. The Canadian squad, who played on the par 72 River Course (5,956 yards) posted a third-round score of 143 and has a composite 425 (-7) heading into the final round of competition Saturday in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

Ohio State senior golfer Lindsay Knowlton (Toronto, Ontario/Havergal) tallied a score of 78 (+6) in the third round and is tied for 41st place individually with a total score of 226 (+10).

Second-place Sweden trails the Canadian team by two strokes and the United States trails by five.
