Men's Volleyball Summer Camp

July 13-15, 2018

CAMP DESCRIPTION

This all day camp is open to any and all boys who are entering grades 7-12 (fall 2018) as well as 2018 high school graduates. This is a general skills camp that will cover both team and individual aspects of the game.

Camp fees include a camp t-shirt, lunch and dinner for all campers. Overnight campers will also receive on-campus housing and breakfast.

Our experienced camp staff is comprised of successful players and coaches with the expertise to bring out the best in your game. Their knowledge of volleyball skills and tactics inspires a high-energy, challenging camp environment to help you reach your full potential. Many of our current players attended our camp when they were junior high and high school athletes!

ENROLLMENT
The fee for this camp is $475 for overnight campers and $400 for day campers. The camp is open to any and all boys entering grades 7-12 in fall 2018 and 2018 high school graduates. Full payment is required at the time of online registration. You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations. If registering by mail, please make your check payable to The Ohio State University. Any non-scholastic group of 5 or more that wishes to pay with one check for the entire group must do so ahead of time via mail. Any non-scholastic organization with a group of 5 or more registering the day of the camp must pay with credit card, cash, or money order. No exceptions will be made.

DISCOUNTS
Siblings and children of Ohio State employees are eligible to receive discounted rate at $460 for overnight campers and $385 for day campers. Proof of employment (i.e., copy of employee or BuckID) and payment must be submitted with the registration. Discounts are not available through online registration and may not be combined. Please make checks payable to The Ohio State University.

REQUIRED FORMS FOR PARTICIPATION
Campers whose travel plans require them to arrive the night before the start of camp may stay in the camp dorm for an additional fee. Please email Makena Lynch (Asst. Director, Camps) at lynch.400@osu.edu for more information.

REQUIRED FORMS FOR PARTICIPATION
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. Please visit OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps to obtain these forms. Please complete, sign and send the forms with your child to check-in – do not send the forms to us prior to the date of camp. Athletes will not be permitted to participate without these forms.

EQUIPMENT
All campers are responsible for bringing their own equipment. No equipment will be provided to ANY camper.

TRANSPORTATION
Port Columbus International Airport is only 15 minutes from the Ohio State campus. The Ohio State Volleyball Camp will provide a FREE shuttle service to and from the airport for camp. Requests for the shuttle must be emailed to Mitch Lush (lush.7@osu.edu) no later than 2 weeks prior to the start of camp.

CONFIRMATION
Upon processing of each registration, a confirmation notice will be sent by email. A packet of “Important Information for Registered Campers” (including the Parent Consent & Waiver Form and Concussion Information Form) will be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the camp. This packet will not be separately mailed to campers.

Please check your email regularly, as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.

REFUNDS
A refund less a $50 administrative fee (overnight campers) or $25 administrative fee (day campers) will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the camp. The administrative fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.

Because we have to guarantee our number of campers in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of the camp will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, illness, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.

A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and submitted by mail, email, or fax – no phone calls or voicemails. All supporting documentation required for a refund to be approved and processed must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Campers who are injured while at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.
