Columbus, Ohio— Competing in Charleston, South Carolina against The Citadel and the Unites States Military Academy pistol teams, Ohio State had an excellent weekend of competition.
Buckeye shooters placed first in all three women’s events (aggregate, air, and sport) as well as free pistol and air pistol. Most notably they placed first in grand aggregate with 6,309 points.
Individually there were three Ohio State shooters who won individual events. Irina Andrianova had the highest score in women’s sport with 538, and she was followed by teammates Kara Moody and Liz Buerling who shot 535 and 526, respectively. Andrianova and Buerling also took second and third place, respectively in women’s sport.
