COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 10 Ohio State men’s tennis team will face Wisconsin at 11 a.m. (EDT) Friday in Minneapolis, Minn., in the quarterfinals of the 2006 Big Ten Tournament. Ohio State clinched the outright regular-season Big Ten title last Sunday against Wisconsin in Columbus by beating the Badgers 6-1 to finish 10-0 in conference play for the first time in program history.

Wisconsin, the No. 8 seed, beat No. 9 Purdue 4-1 Thursday to advance to the quarterfinals. Ohio State had a first-round bye. The winner of the Ohio State vs. Wisconsin match will advance to the semifinals where they will face either Michigan or Indiana. OSU beat both Michigan (7-0) and Indiana (6-1) during the regular season.

Ohio State is riding a nine-match win streak against the Badgers. The last Wisconsin win against OSU came during the 1998-99 season in Madison (6-1).
