COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 8 Ohio State women’s golf team posted a score of 593 (297-296) in a tie for fourth place after the second round Saturday at the Tar Heel Invitational. The event is being held at the par 72 Finley Golf Course (6,181 yards) in Chapel Hill, N.C. and hosted by the University of North Carolina.

Duke continues to lead the field of 15 with a score of 577 (290-287).

Ohio State sophomore Kristen White (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) jumped from fifth to second place with a score of 142 (41-41). Allison Hanna (Jr., Portland, Ore./David Douglas) stands in a tie for 7th place at 146 (73-73).

Duke’s Liz Janangelo holds her spot at the top of the individual leaderboard with a nine-under-par 135.

The final round is scheduled with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Sunday.
