COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s golf team is ranked eighth in the Golf World Preseason College Coaches Poll released today. The Buckeyes, who won their third-consecutive Big Ten title and finished eighth at the 2004 NCAA Championships, return five letterwinners to the squad this season, Senior Kristen White (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) was listed as the No. 9 player in the Golf World Top 10 players to watch. White is a two-time National Golf Coaches Association second team All-American recipient and a three-time first team All-Big Ten selection. Ohio State begins the 2004-05 season Sept. 11-13 at the Lady Northern Intercollegiate in Ann Arbor, Mich.
