COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s soccer team continued to be ranked in all of the national soccer polls this week, jumping as high as seventh in the TopDrawerSoccer.com rankings Monday. In addition, the Buckeyes sit 14th in the Soccer America rankings and remain 19th in the NSCAA poll.
The 6-2-0 Buckeyes have home wins over Kent State, Wright State and Texas and road wins at Miami, Florida Gulf Coast and No. 16 Virginia Tech.
Lindsay Agnew is tied for sixth in the Big Ten with 11 points while Agnew and Nikki Walts sit tied for third in the conference with three assists. Jillian McVicker has made 27 saves, a total that is tied for fourth in the conference. As a team, Ohio State is fourth in the conference with 15 goals and 14 assists.
Ohio State has a pair of road matches this weekend, traveling to Wisconsin for an 8 p.m. ET Friday match before taking on No. 10 Minnesota at 2 p.m. ET Sunday.
