COLUMBUS, Ohio –
The Ohio State men’s lacrosse team has participated in Lacrosse Vs. Cancer this fall, gathering more than $12,000 in donations to help fight childhood cancer. The Vs. Cancer Foundation raises funds to support cancer research and works with collegiate teams through the country to raise awareness and support.

Money raised by the Buckeye men’s lacrosse program will go to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus and to fund cancer research efforts.

The Vs. Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving kids’ lives by empowering athletes and communities to fund lifesaving childhood cancer efforts. Half of all proceeds raised supports local pediatric oncology programs, while the other half funds national cancer research efforts. For more information on the Vs. Cancer Foundation, visit vs-cancer.org.
