Buckeyes Prepare for the Big Ten Outdoor Championships

Bloomington, Ind. The Ohio State track and field team will head to Bloomington, Indiana to showcase its talents at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships. The three-day meet will be contested at the Robert C. Haugh Track & Field Complex and will be hosted by Indiana University May 11-13. The Championships are set to take place Friday with the women’s hammer throw and 100 meter decathlon at Noon ET. Saturday will begin with the 110 hurdles decathlon at 10:30 a.m. ET and Sunday with the women’s and men’s triple jump at 11:00 a.m. ET. All 13 Big Ten Conference teams will be in attendance this weekend for the Championships.

A Look Back

At last year’s Big Ten Championships, Ohio State took fourth under the direction of head coach Karen Dennis. The last time the Buckeyes claimed a Big Ten outdoor title was in 2011 and 2012 where Coach Dennis was also head coach. The men’s track team was hailed Big Ten
