Columbus, Ohio – Ohio State’s Scott Green (Sr. North Canton, Ohio/Hoover) and Ross Wilson (Sr. Toledo, Ohio/St. Francis de Sales), the No. 2 doubles team in the nation, lost Friday at the ITA All-American National Championships in Tulsa, Okla. They were beaten in the quarterfinal by Matt Baccarani and Patrick Thompson of Ball State 8-5.

The duo won its second round match Thursday against Alex Jago and James Spence of Memphis, 8-3. Wilson and Green are 2-1 in doubles play this season. Last year, the pair won this tournament, becoming the first Ohio State student-athletes to win a national tournament in OSU men’s tennis history.

The tournament was hosted by the University of Tulsa. Matches were played at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.

The Buckeyes return to action Oct. 13 at the Futures Tournament in Arlington, Texas.
