Scouting The Wildcats
Bethune Cookman is a member of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and is located in Daytona Beach, Fla., with an enrollment of around 3,600 students. Last season the Wildcats finished 17-14 with a 9-7 mark in conference play. This year Bethune Cookman is 6-5, winning their previous three games against North Florida (60-57), Flagler (79-56) and Marygrove (80-17). They are led by senior guard Demetria Frank’s 15.4 ppg to go along with her 6.1 rebounds. Vanessa Blair (Mount St. Mary’s, 1992) is in her third season as the head coach at Bethune Cookman.
