COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s soccer team, fresh off a 2009 NCAA tournament appearance and second place finish in the Big Ten regular season, will play two matches on the Big Ten Network in 2010.

The Oct. 3 matchup at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium against Penn State will be shown on Big Ten Network live at 3 p.m. and the Oct. 24 game at Purdue will be aired on tape delay the same day at 5 p.m.

The Buckeyes, coached by 2009 Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year Lori Walker, return nine starters off a team that finished 14-4-2, tying for the second-most wins in program history. Ohio State opens the season at home Aug. 20 against Wisconsin-Milwaukee at 7:30 p.m.
