COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Network will air at least three of the Ohio State men’s soccer team’s games during the 2010 season, announced recently in its fall schedule release. The defending Big Ten champions will take on Northwestern and Penn State on the road and Wisconsin at home, all on same day delay.

Ohio State and Northwestern take to the field in Evanston, Ill., at 1 p.m. Oct. 10 with the game airing at 5 p.m., while the Buckeye-Nittany Lion matchup will be played at 3 p.m. Oct. 23 and shown on BTN at 6 p.m. Ohio State welcomes Wisconsin to Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium for a 2 p.m. match on Oct. 31 with it airing at 7 p.m.

Big Ten Network also will air a to be determined conference match from the Nov. 6-7 weekend, during which the Buckeyes face Indiana, as well as the conference semifinals and championship live from State College, Pa., Nov. 12 and 14, respectively.

Last season, Ohio State captured both the Big Ten regular-season and tournament championships for the first time in program history, ending the year with a 12-5-4 record and the No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Buckeyes made four appearances on the Big Ten Network a year ago and finished with a flawless 4-0 record in nationally-televised games.

Head coach John Bluem welcomes back eight starters and 19 total letterwinners, while adding six newcomers for the 2010 season. The Buckeyes will begin their campaign for back-to-back championships with the Bert & Iris Wolstein Classic Sept. 3 and 5 against College of Charleston and Buffalo.
