Buckeyes Lead Nation in Home Wins Since 2010

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State is No. 1 nationally for the most home wins with a 146-23 (.864) record since the 2009-10 season. Maryland is the next-best Big Ten team at No. 13 with 131 wins. Going back to the 2008-09 season to the present, the Buckeyes own the most home victories with 161 wins over 187 games (161-26). The Buckeyes also have played the fifth-most ranked teams in the country since 2005. Ohio State has played 130 opponents ranked among the Associated Press Top 25 during that span. That total trails only West Virginia (143), Michigan State (139), North Carolina (132) and Texas (132).

The Buckeyes play at home the next three games against Penn State Thursday (8 p.m.), Jan. 30 against Indiana (7 p.m.) and against Illinois Feb. 4 (noon). The Buckeyes close out the home portion of the schedule Feb. 10 against Iowa (6 p.m.) and against Rutgers Feb. 20 (7 p.m.). The game against the Scarlet Knights will be the final home contest for seniors Jae’Sean Tate, Kam Williams and graduate transfer Andrew Dakich

Ohio State is 18-4 overall with a 9-0 Big Ten record following the home win vs. Nebraska Monday. The Buckeyes enter the game vs. Penn State Thursday ranked No. 13 nationally in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls.
