COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State baseball team held its annual pro scout day Thursday afternoon at Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium. More than 30 scouts were on hand as head coach Greg Beals ran his team through a series of drills before a simulated game where eight Buckeye pitches threw one inning each.    The day began with a stretch followed by 60-yard sprints, batting practice, throwing drills, defensive drills and the simulated game.  Ohio State hurlers Trace Dempsey, Travis Lakins, Jake Post, Matt Panek, Joe Stoll, Shea Murray, Michael Horejsei and John Havird each threw an inning during the simulated game.    Click on the link above for a photo gallery of scout day. The Buckeyes are set to hold their annual Scarlet and Gray World Series beginning next week.
