COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State baseball team held its annual pro scout day Thursday afternoon at Nick Swisher Field at Bill Davis Stadium. More than 20 scouts were on hand as head coach Greg Beals ran his team through a series of drills before a simulated game where nine Buckeye pitchers threw one inning each.

The day began with a stretch followed by 60-yard springs, batting practice, throwing drills, defensive drills and the simulate game. Rain showers delayed the scrimmage for about an hour before the team headed back on the turf to show off their skills. Ohio State hurlers Yianni Pavlopoulos, Seth Kinker, Reece Calvert, Thomas Waning, Joe Stoll, Austin Woodby, Curtiss Irving, Kyle Michalik and Kent Axcell each threw an inning during the simulated game.
