COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State rifle team competed at the Camp Perry Open last weekend. The competition included teams from Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, the U.S. National Team, the National Wheelchair team and other individuals. A total of 112 individuals shot in the two-day event.

Ohio State’s Amanda Furrer finished fifth with a 1,380.1 score. Buckeye Amanda Luoma was seventh at 1,374.7. The top shooter was SFA Jason Parks with a 1,394.9. Twelve members of the Ohio State rifle team took part in the event.

The Buckeyes will next compete against Army, Jan. 23 at Palmyra, Pa.
