COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 27th-ranked Ohio State women’s golf team boasted a final round score of 7-over 295 to conclude the Web.com Intercollegiate in third place. After three rounds of play, the Buckeyes carded a 13-over 877, to receive their third top-10 finish of the season. The two-day Intercollegiate was co-hosted by Jacksonville University and the University of North Florida, on the par 72, 5,967-yard course at Marsh Landing Country Club in Jacksonville, Fla.

Of the 19 teams in attendance, five were ranked in the Top 50, according to Golfweek.  Taking home the team title was No. 31 Florida State with a 13-under 851. Seminole Matilda Castren posted a 12-under 204 to earn individual accolades for the contingent as well.

Leading the way for the Scarlet and Gray were freshmen Katja Pogacar and Jessica Porvasnik, both of whom carded an even 216 to tie for 8th. Pogacar recorded a 2-over 74 in the third round, with eight birdies earned. Porvasnik dropped 10 birdies, with a final round score of 3-over 75.  

Junior Claudia Lim finished tied for 25th, earning a 5-over 221, while her freshman teammate Zoe-Beth Brake carded an 8-over 224 for 41st place.

Rounding out competitors for Ohio State was freshman Jan Chanpalangsri. She recorded a 14-over 230 for a 62nd-place showing.  

Next up for the Buckeyes is the Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational. Ohio State will host the tournament on the Scarlet Course at The Ohio State University Golf Club, April 19-20.
