Auburn, Alabama – Ohio State finished in 20th place in the team standings after the final day of competition Saturday at the NCAA women’s swimming and diving championships at Auburn. The Buckeyes scored 34 points overall.

Emily Creran swam in the consolation finals of the 200 backstroke Saturday night, placing 13th in a time of 1:54.89. She was 15th in the preliminary heats, in a time of 1:54.63. Kelsey Moran finished 41st in the 200 back in a time of 1:58.32.

Kelly Ann Baird was 19th in the timed 1650 freestyle, swimming that race in 16:19.88.

In the 200 butterfly, Big Ten champion Shannon Draves finished 20th in a time of 1:57.01. In the 100 free, Michelle Williams (49.07) was 30th and Megan Detro (50.06) was 53rd overall. Angela Severn false started in the 200 breaststroke.

The Buckeye entry of Michelle Williams, Phoebe Cater, Alex Norris and Megan Detro placed 17th in the 400 free relay in a time of 3:18.82, just missing a spot in the finals.
