COLUMBUS, Ohio-The Ohio State men’s golf team finished the 2002 Bruce Fossum/Taylor Made Invitational, in East Lansing, Mich, today tied for 12th place (316+307+298=921).

Buckeye senior Doug Wade led the way for OSU firing a final round 69 (-3) to finish the tournament in a six way tie for 23rd place.

Toledo (+12, 876) won the tournament by nine strokes in front of second place Illinois (+21, 885). The Rockets’ David Jones fired a final round 69 (-3) to earn tournament medalist honors finishing a stroke ahead of second place Garrett Chaussard of Illinois.

The Buckeyes will return to action next weekend when they travel to Iowa City, Iowa to compete in the Big Ten Golf Championships, May 3-5.
