COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State rifle team finished fourth last weekend at the Withrow Invitational hosted by Murray State. The host Racers won the Invitational shooting an aggregate of 4,656. Murray State scored a 2,312 in smallbore and 2,344 in air rifle. The Buckeyes shot a 4,614 aggregate score finishing third in smallbore rifle with a 2,288 and sixth in air rifle with a 2,323.

OSU’s Amanda Furrer took first place in smallbore rifle shooting a 586. Dan Hemsmeier of Memphis was second at 584. In air rifle, Murray State’s Katie Cleven finished first with a 593. Buckeye Amanda Luoma was OSU’s top finisher at seventh shooting a 586.

Next week, Ohio State will host Akron and Rose Homan Institute of Technology Saturday.
