COLUMBUS, Ohio-Ohio State shot rounds of 287-292=579 Friday in the opening two rounds of the Big Ten Men’s Golf Tournament at the Les Bolstad/University of Minnesota Golf Course. David Wagenseller (Fr., Wilmington, Ohio) and Albert Hromulak (Sr., Johnstown, Pa.) are tied with several others for 10th to pace the Buckeyes.

Ohio State is playing in the event with three freshmen (Wagenseller, Jason Oien of Westerville and Ryan Dennis of Stow, Ohio), a sophomore (Chris Emanuel of Ottumwa, Iowa) and one senior (Hromulak).

Northwestern leads after the first two rounds (284-281=565), just one stroke ahead of the host Golden Gophers (287-279=566).

Larry Nuger of Illinois (68-69=137) and Matt Stutzman of Iowa (70-67=137) are the individual leaders after the first two rounds.
