COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State (4-2) rifle team defeated Army, 4,631 to 4,587 in a match held in conjunction with the Palmyra Invitational in Palmyra, Pa. The Buckeyes won both events, winning air rifle, 2,330 to 2,299 and smallbore rifle, 2,301 to 2,288. Individually, OSU’s Amanda Furrer took top honors in both events winning air rifle with a 588 score and smallbore rifle with a 581 sharing the honor with teammate James Clark.

Ohio State travels to Murray, Ky. Saturday to compete in Murray State Invitational.
