COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s cross country team competed against 45 of the top teams in the nation Saturday morning at the 2014 Indiana State Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind.

Ohio State closed the meet with a team score of 897, finishing 37th overall. No. 1 Colorado placed first overall with 37 points.

Junior Curtis Hanle was the top finisher for the Buckeyes, turning in a 107th-place time of 25:30.8. Redshirt sophomore Adrian Ross was the second finisher for OSU and 158th overall in 25:49.9. Freshmen Nick Elswick (202, 26:10.6) and Mitch Leitch (204, 26:12.0) also scored for the Buckeyes, along with junior Blake Taneff (224, 26:20.8).
