The Ohio State men’s swimming and diving team is ranked No. 20 in the most recent CollegeSwimming.com Top 25 national poll. This is the first time the Buckeyes have held a preseason ranking since 1997.

Last year, Ohio State was ranked nationally in the College Swimming Coaches Association of America poll, finishing the season ranked 24th. Ohio State finished sixth in the Big Ten in 2005, and sent four student-athletes on to the national meet.

This season, the Buckeyes, one of seven Big Ten teams to be ranked in the Top 25, move into what could be considered the fastest pool in the nation, the Bill and Mae McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.

The Buckeyes open their season at The McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. against Miami University.
