COLUMBUS, Ohio – During 2016-17 the Ohio State men’s hockey team is slated for television appearances on BTN, ESPNU and Fox Sports North+, with games also available through BTN2Go and WatchESPN via the web and mobile devices.
All Ohio State regular season home games not televised will be streamed online either through the Buckeye Vision subscription package on OhioStateBuckeyes.com or through the BTN Plus subscription package through BTN2Go. Streaming for non-televised road games will be provided by the home school, when available.
Seven Buckeye games are scheduled for BTN and BTN2Go, beginning Dec. 2 at Minnesota when the network kicks off its coverage of the fourth season of B1G hockey. The network will televise the Ohio State vs. Wisconsin Super Saturday game from Madison Square Garden in New York City Jan. 28 and the Buckeyes’ next game at Michigan Feb. 3.
BTN will carry both games of a series in Columbus between the Buckeyes and Golden Gophers Feb. 10-11, a home game vs. Michigan Feb. 25 and the regular season finale at Wisconsin March 11.
ESPNU is scheduled to televise the Buckeyes’ game vs. Arizona State Jan. 14 in Columbus, with the game also available on WatchESPN.
The Dec. 3 game at Minnesota will be carried by Fox Sports North Plus, while Wisconsin Public Television will broadcast the March 10 matchup between the Buckeyes and Badgers. Both games will also be available through BTN2Go.
BTN will televise all five games from the 2017 Big Ten Tournament at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit March 16-18.
Again this season, RadiOhio will broadcast Buckeye hockey, covering the majority of non-conference games, all Big Ten games and all postseason action involving the Buckeyes. The call will be available over the air on 1460 AM and online through Buckeye Vision subscription packages.

Ohio State returns all but three letterwinners from last year’s team that was undefeated in eight of its last nine games and finished the season eighth in the NCAA in scoring offense, averaging 3.56 goals a game.
An exhibition game at 4 p.m. Sunday vs. Wilfrid Laurier in Value City Arena kicks off the Buckeye campaign.
The Buckeyes open the regular season Oct. 7-8 in Denver at the Ice Breaker Tournament, facing Denver and then either Boston College and Air Force. After road games at Miami Oct. 15 and Bowling Green Oct. 21, the home regular season opener is vs. the Falcons Oct. 22.
