COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s track and field team is ranked in a national poll for the first time this season. The Buckeyes come in at No. 25 in the latest trackwire.com poll released April 17.

Ohio State stands in a four-way tie with George Mason, Jackson State and Kansas State for the 25th spot in the country.

The Buckeyes were ranked by trackwire.com at the beginning of the 2005 season and spent the entire 2004 campaign rated in trackwire.com’s Top 10. In 2004, the OSU men’s claimed a tie for fourth place at the NCAA championships.

The OSU men’s and women’s teams participate in two meets this weekend. Members from both squads will compete at either the Cardinal Invitational in Louisville, Ky., or the Oregon Invitational in Eugene, Ore.
