Columbus, Ohio – Brian Kelly has joined the OSU Golf Course Staff as Assistant Pro Shop Manager for The Ohio State University Department of Athletics, announced Chris Walsh, Assistant General Manager.

Kelly will join the pro shop staff that manages the two eight-teen hole courses at OSU including the nationally recognized Scarlet Course, which will undergo renovation this summer. He will focus on the operations of the pro shop, planning outings and coordinating the junior program as well as overseeing seasonal staff and teaching lessons.

A graduate of Franklin University, Kelly has worked in the central Ohio golf industry since 1993 at the Golf Center at Polaris, Oakhaven Golf Club, Golden Bear Golf Center and Ables Golf Center.

“I am very pleased and excited that we are able to add Brian to our staff,” Walsh said. “He has great experience and a love for Ohio State.”

Kelly, 32, was born in Columbus, Ohio and currently resides in Delaware with his wife Michelle and their two children David and Hannah.
