COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State baseball coach Bob Todd met with a large contingent of Columbus media today (Thursday, May 6) to address his announcement that he would be retiring from coaching at the conclusion of the 2010 season. On another glorious sunny day and right near where Todd spent much of his 37 years in collegiate baseball coaching – near the third base coaching box – Todd talked to approximately 20 media members about what he said to the team, the timing of his announcement, how he feels now and how he’ll approach the remainder of the season.
