%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten women’s basketball Foreign Tour Team earned its third-consecutive victory on its tour through Europe, defeating Slovan Bratislava 72-48 Sunday in Bratislava, Slovakia.%^$

%^$The Big Ten squad jumped out to a 39-29 halftime lead and then put the game away in the second half on a three-point play with 5:24 to play by Ohio State’s D’wan Shackleford (So., Newark, Ohio/Newark). Shackleford registered her best all-around performance thus far of the tour, scoring 11 points, while grabbing five rebounds and amassing a team-high four steals.%^$

%^$Penn State’s Lisa Shepherd and Iowa’s Cara Consuegra led the Big Ten team with 12 points apiece, while Shackleford and Wisconsin’s Tamara Moore each scored 11 points.%^$

%^$The Big Ten Foreign Tour Team returns to action Wednesday in Sopron, Hungary, for the first of two games with Soproni BBC.
