COLUMBUS, Ohio – Archie Griffin, president and CEO of the Ohio State Alumni Association and college football’s only two-time Heisman Trophy winner, will throw out the first pitch at the Ohio State vs. Minnesota baseball game Friday in Bill Davis Stadium.
Griffin is scheduled to throw the first pitch at 6:25 p.m. He will sign autographs at the stadium at 6 p.m.
Ohio State and Minnesota, the two most successful teams in the Big Ten Conference over the last 20 years, hook up Friday through Sunday at Bill Davis Stadium in a key early-season Big Ten Conference match-up. Both teams are 2-2 in the Big Ten and trail 4-0 Michigan and 3-1 Illinois and Purdue in the standings.
