COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State junior centerfielder Chris Griffin and sophomore shortstop Tyler Engle talk to roving reporter Kendra Lee about the 2009 baseball season and more in the audio double play this week.

Griffin, from Pickerington, Ohio and Pickerington North High School, has seen action in nine games so far, including in games last week at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome vs. Minnesota. Griffin is making the most of his opportunities for playing time: he is hitting .333 with three runs scored and two RBI.

Engle, from Beverly, Ohio and Fort Frye High School, is finally getting over an upper leg injury that hampered his early season playing time. The 48-game starter at shortstop last year as a true freshman has now started 12 times this year for the Buckeyes and has recorded hits in five of his last six games.
