CVCA’S VERY OWN Nathan Tomasello LEAVING OSU LEGACY
Nathan Tomasello, a 2013 graduate of CVCA, climbed to the top of the NCAA Wrestling mountain immediately as an Ohio State freshman by capturing the 125-pound national title in 2015. He has since added two more All-America honors in addition to three straight Big Ten individual championships.

HISTORY WITH THE HOOSIERS
The Buckeyes first squared off with Indiana nearly a century ago way back in 1922, dropping the opening meeting, 32-22. Ohio State has gained an upper hand since, however, owners of a 48-34-2 lead in the all-time series. The last eight matches have all gone in favor of the Scarlet & Gray, last taking an `L’ versus the Hoosiers in 2006.

B1G WRESTLERS OF THE WEEK
Te’Shan Campbell and Kollin Moore have both earned Big Ten Wrestler of the Week accolades this season. Campbell picked up the honor on Nov. 14 after a dominating performance over Arizona State’s Anthony Valencia. Moore received conference recognition three weeks later (Dec. 5) following his 6-0 championship run at the CKLV Invite, highlighted by a first-period pin of No. 2 Jared Haught (Virginia Tech) in the 197-pound finals.

GLOBETROTTING BUCKEYES
Joey McKenna and Kyle Snyder have each missed some time in the Buckeye lineup this season in order to compete internationally. McKenna headed to Poland as a member of Team USA for the U23 World Championships while Snyder went undefeated for the Titan Mercury Wrestling Club at the World Clubs Cup in Iran.

BUCKEYES CASH IN TEAM TITLE IN LAS VEGAS
For the second season in a row, Ohio State claimed the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational team title last week. The Buckeyes cleared the field by 15.5 points despite lacking the services of three All-Americans (including two national champions) missing from the lineup. Three individual champions were crowned while donning the Scarlet & Gray — Luke Pletcher (133 lbs), Myles Martin (184 lbs) and Kollin Moore (197 lbs). In addition, four more Buckeyes found their way to the podium and placed inside the top-4 of their respective weight classes.

The Buckeyes wrestled 50 bouts over the course of two days, winning at a 78% rate (39-11). Bonus points came in a flurry as well, racking up seven pins, three tech falls and six major decisions (16 of 39 matches).

POUND-FOR-POUND
FloWrestling maintains a `pound-for-pound’ Top-20 and Ohio State represents 25-percent of the group. The Buckeyes included are No. 1 Kyle Snyder, No. 8 Nathan Tomasello, No. 13 Bo Jordan, No. 15 Myles Martin and No. 19 Kollin Moore.
